The Golden City, Jaisalmer is one of the most beautiful place of Rajasthan, India. Jaisalmer got it’s name after The Bhati Rajput ruler ROA JAISAL, who founded the city in 1156 AD. The city is situated in the heart of Rajasthan and approx. 600 kilometres west of the state capital Jaipur. Jaislamer Fort is also known as The Golden Fort of Rajasthan. It was formulated by Rajput Ruler ‘Raja Jaisal’ in the year 1156 AD. It is one of the largest fort in the world. The golden and yellow blended sandstone offer enchanted look to the Fort. Ascending from the desert sands like an illusion, the fortification is a genuine sight with its 99 turrets during night.
